Hey FW, I ran into that metal detector thing last year... I was there very early am before they arrived. It was a little strange, but people probably think we are weird when we stand in the rain and catch no fish.

Glad you and the family had fun as usual. My dad is visiting next week and we'll get out a couple times.. he wants to see the girls as much as fish though.

I fished the harbor for the first time on sunday. Other than a my trolling motor not working (well, dead battery due to charger not working), the boat was good.

The rivers seem pretty dead, but there were a bunch of schoolies up in Dorchester Bay. Sizes were mixed with fish from 12-26" and it looked like they were on small herring. I caught 17 fish on smoke ledgerunners and albino bass assassins.

I checked around in the Back and Neponset rivers and didn't mark anything. I know that usually the fish are up in the rivers early on. Things seem off a bit.

We need some warm weather... not just for the fish, I need to get outside.

Hope to see you out on the water, maybe this weekend. Later and welcome back.
