Nahh, they might almost accept that. We want batter and more access, not less and less accessible access.

I think the best approach would be to rat them out to the IRS.They are losing out on a good deal of tax money, and they can afford to go after these #^&#^&#^&#^&ebags.Anyone know an irs agent?

I dont want to stir the pot, but do you guys think is is a good thing for the beach?? If this is why people want to keep it open to driving, I would want it closed. I took this off of their facebook page... i am sure they are only using the worst photos that they can find, but does the beach look like this often????

Nebe that picture was taken way back in the 80's before any beach management plan was in place. As were many of the pictures on their FB page. You will never see that beach looking like that again. That was one of the things we challenged them about. They are spewing lies and pictures like that. The Town, Feds and State all approve of the management plan that is in place and they are running out of money to fight them and the constant appeals.
PBAC(Plymouth Beach For All Coalition) is doing a fantastic job digging up the facts. I urge all of you to visit their Facebook page and learn the "backed up" FACTS. We are waiting on the Judges decision to the latest appeal to come any day now.

I don't know if it looks like that often Nebe, but I have seen the cape beaches look like that.
supply and demand
apparently the demand for space needed for plovers far outweighs the space allowed for humans.
The law allows us to share the beach, this is what happens.
I want to know if those goldenrod people drive out to their homes(excuse me, I mean research stations) and why aren't the plovers keeping them away too? shouldn't they walk from the lot like we have to out in PTown

Sums it up nicely. The ORV buggies are continually conceding access, space, and entire weeks / months to the Plover and people like Goldenrod. Constraints like that help create situations like that image, which Goldenrod will then use to stir up the troops, uhmm, I meant, armies, darn - legions, flock, yeh flocks. They probably don't like the term army, or troops either. (OK so I runneth over a little there).
