I have to admit I am one of the guys that usually just looks. I would report something if I had more to offer. Only my second year fishing. Caught 21 fish in the morning last Saturday but were all schoolies so who wants pictures of those. Biggest was 25 inches. We were over behind the Maritime Academy where it drops off before the canal entrance. There were terns diving around us, bass were pushing the bait straight out of the water. Was pretty cool to see. In the afternoon tried the canal for the first time just after the tide turned. Guy next to us caught a nice 32" on a fishfinder with mackerel chunks with a 5 oz sinker. I tried the same set up but still couldn't avoid getting snagged. Skunked but will try again. Great day all around and doing the same this weekend. Would love to meet up with some of you guys and learn how to cath the big ones! That's two keepers I've seen from mrmacey, makes me want to call in sick tomorrow and catch up. I'm jealous!
