He fetched up as of high tide Friday morning. They are killing the scallops out there, he came from New Bedford to get into the scene - at $10 a lb at the dock I'm surprised every boat in the northeast isn't there.

My pics were just after the high tide Friday afternoon. He wasn't even close to being able to free himself, there was a foot difference in the tides, and unless he got off this morning he has oceanfront property for a while. The captain won't leave the boat, I think it has something to do with marine salvage laws. At least he has a load of yummy scallops to eat until the next spring tides or the tug shows up.

The bones of that wreck are strewn over a mile of beach. There are 5-6 ribs (in the 1st pic you can see a 2nd one in the background) and a couple of planks. Very good condition - usually when I see these they are at least starting to rot.

All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing.
