Very surprising for Connecticut, and I was thinking of fishing there because of the saltwater license reciprocity figured I'd get the bigger fish earlier. I hope that isn't a prelude to what is in store for Massachusetts. |

I thought it was looking good two weeks ago, but I am nervous now. My fishing is limited to a narrow area this time of year so it is not necessarily representative of other places. I do know that within the group of a dozen or so guys who fish where I do and I talk with occasionally, the results have been similar. Too early to tell, but it looks more like fall in CT which has been not so great last few years. |

First Keeper Blitz action of the season. Insane action actually  My thumb is ripped up, my shoulder hurts, and my feet are sore. But I can't stop smiling. Bad picture, but we didnt wanna stop catching 35-38" screamers! BTW as soon as I have money, I'm buying stock in Sebile Lure Co. On the 8ft tica and cabopt40, these fish were a blast!! |
