Thanks for the poop, Mike.
I hate this tax and spend mentality. If the "authorities" wanted real time fishing info, there are ways of doing that. When I was a kid on Long Island, NYS DEC would send me a small log book to input trout fishing info. End of the season I would mail the book back to them. I used to fish and catch searun trout in all the local estuaries
and streams. Those trout are still available. NYS State always listed fresh water streams turned to saltwater at the first dam. There is no season on searun trout so one could fish them all year round.
