I took an introductory jazz course at CCRI that was very difficult. I never really had a grasp on it and ended up dropping the class. Still managed a degree in General Studies that has really served me well in life.
On a side note, the best experience CCRI ever afforded me the was the opportunity to work an "internship" under Joe's tutelage. Yes, Joe has been called many things; eccentric, witty, feminine, etc. But the one thing that one simply cannot comprehend is the level of intellect this man exhibits. Have you ever seen a cat eat a Gibb's needlefish? Classic example of market and advertising strategy. You just can't learn this stuff in a classroom.
