This is one of Ty's friends ,never really fished before this day. We taught him how to cast a spinner the night before at my local pond..he had a great day. I could make a career out of being outfished by kids...One of my girl Julie and one hoping for something to happen.

Base of Mount Kineo on Moosehead Lake, Rockwood, ME. Only -30 with the windchill.
A record was set for Togue (lake trout) nearby 2009 on Moosehead.

don't make it to the Canal very often but it is the perfect place to take a kid to work on their skills and where they have pretty good shot of hooking a decent fish and then you can sit back and watch all of the funny faces that they make as they try to get it to shore

That looks like snow on the ground. When did you get snow? I'm in Northern RI and my grass is still green. At least it was when left for the airport this morning.

Sorry for the confusion ...... the pics where taken last year. I dont have any "winter" pics of this year because winter hasnt "arrived" yet here in Plymouth. although I think when its all said and done I think we are going to pay big time for this mild weather we've been having.
Heres a few taken in early November at Myles Standish State Forest (Plymouth side) on the some the controlled burns I manage for the State.

Luv those pics Mike . Glad I was there to enjoy it live.
Me on a picture perfect spring morning doing what I like at the place I like the best. Some guy was out that morning and yelled for my e mail addy and he sent them to me. Real expensive lens, camera.
