Base of Mount Kineo on Moosehead Lake, Rockwood, ME. Only -30 with the windchill. 
A record was set for Togue (lake trout) nearby 2009 on Moosehead.

don't make it to the Canal very often but it is the perfect place to take a kid to work on their skills and where they have pretty good shot of hooking a decent fish and then you can sit back and watch all of the funny faces that they make as they try to get it to shore |
