Told me to send it in for the service and they would look at it and then talk to van stall to see what they can do. He was definitely helpful and courteous. Let you know how I make out. Thanks for all the suggestions but I think the corrosion is much to severe for sanding and as for neglect like I said I rinsed it after each use which was minimal due to having a baby.

Are you saying that it was a steel screw not stainless?
