Then you might want to consider the Saltist over the Saragossa. The Saltist has a manual bail and a rotor lock. IMO that's like wearing a belt and suspenders, but the bail can't ever close, and it doesn't matter where the rotor is when you open the bail. The Saragossa has a rotor brake, but it's not as strong as the one on the Saltist, and it has an auto-close bail. However, it's about a 3 minute operation to remove the bail trip. The Gossa cranks a lot smoother than the Saltist---or, at least, mine does.
