The real kicker for tourists is when we have the first sighting near P Town harbor or the bay beaches of Truro, Welfleet or Eastham.
Completely agree. I've said it before and I'll say it again the photos on Cape Cod Shark Hunters are proof enough for me that they cruise in the shallows often, and not just in low light.

A great white in shallow water??!!

I guess as fishermen and observers of nature and the sea in general we just pay closer attention, but I'm still surprised at the tone of that article.
