Just got the non renewal notice today from Quincy Mutual.... Waiting for call back from agent. Never been through this before. If they are going to cancel my homeowners, there is no effing way I will keep my three auto policies with them....... Yeah, good people.
Time to light them up on the internet.
You're fine as long as you're NEVER late with a payment and you NEVER make a cliam. Then they are your friend.
But, be late one time or actually need the service you've been paying them for for years, and they drop you like a diseased rat.
Shop around and make it a point to tell them EXACTLY what you think of them and why you are canceling their auto policies.
Oh, and if you prepaid your auto policy for the year, they should reimburse you a prorated amount for the portion of the year you won't be covered by them.
There should be laws or government regulation of these types of goings on when someone who pays their premiums on time for years and never so much as files a claim....and then they do....and then the friggin' company drops them as a result!!!!!!!
