SALTYDOG,
I think that some people are under the impression that we have till March to get us through the holidays......I doubt I can finish in time to have them to you by the 4th....

You must be a real go getter SaltyDog! Most of us will need all winter to get our stuff finished as Fishpart mentioned. Maybe due to you in early March ?

I have half of mine done already
However, I agree that Jan. 4 is a bit short on time, given the holiday season. And March is way too long also.
How about Jan 11 of Jan 18 instead?

Done Deal
SaltyDog,
I got my 12 tied do you want them now or is it easier to send them to you after the holidays? Do you also need seperate packaging sent for our return or just include the postage and return label and you'll use the same package to send us ours ?

Part of getting people to sign up was the stipulation that they had plenty of time to tie them. I actually threw out March when asked and I believe thats how we got 12 people to sign up instead of 4. Jaiem and Saltydog got a whole store full of flies but most of us will have to tie the dozen just for this swap and the next couple of weeks are all tied up with holidays , etc. Maybe March is too late but I think we should be thinking a month or two , not a week or two.

OK so we send them to Saltydog at the address listed due in on March 1st.
Here's a couple of suggestions.
1) individually bag your twelve flies/teasers. That way they don't get tangled and damaged and they are easy to sort.
2) include a self addressed package with postage already paid for shippping back to you. That makes life easy for Saltydog.

I was tying some specials for the swap!
3/1 is fine for me. Wasn't trying to rush anyone.
Happy Holidays.

Fly Swap
Saltydog,
Sorry for the confusion the package from Sal is me (Sammy).
If any of you fellow Fly Fisherman are interested check out www.flyfishing-fly.com. All they have for the salt is Decivers but they are on sale for $1.00 each till the end of the month. I got my order today, the quality is A++. You can't go wrong, cost more then that to make them.

I'm sending in 5 sets. Smokey , Steve L , Dave L , Fishpart and mine. I'm suppose to get the last two dozen on Friday. I'll mail them to Saltydog as soon as I have the last two. All nice ! I got the two squid ones from Smokey to add to the spare dozen for the auction.

Flies
I have 12 ready to go. Bit because of logistic reasons, I was only able to do a blue over white deceiver instead. Please accept my apologies for this. This batch will go out today.

No problemo Joe! We'll take what we can get!!
I now have 4 of the 5 i was waiting for. I think I'm going to send in the 4 and the last person will have to send in theirs direct to saltydog. He is having an epoxy curing problem.
I'll make a call tonight. Depending on what I hear , I may send out the 4 I have tomorrow.

Mike,
I mailed them out already but I mailed them to Salty Dog's address. I hope that this was not a problem-- I thought he was the one receiving and processing them. It was mailed to flyrod outfitters address.
