great june out 21 days of 29 days.may and june have been very good to me and most fish are'nt cows but are keeper size fish.

2 @ 20" or less ~at two different spots.
they ALL loved SA's pogie hammerhead. that was the ONLY all-nighter
to date of this '09 wet one. am hoping to get to the water SOON!

July could be June for us NShorians,

i agree with the crumby weather putting a HOLD on us and the Striped Ones.
time for some full moon fever and riggies or snakes.

Doing better to date than I was last year ... but that doesn't mean much as I have only been out a handful of times in June, and for short time frames as well.

Been spending as much free time with my daughter as possible, foresaking fishing to ensure she has my complete attention and not a dad staying awake only through cofee.

One Striper trip in southern Maine, mid June, that was a lot of fun, not too productive. Great largemouth fishing and really good trout fishing all June here in Vermont. Last Saturday landed 11 trout with my son. He even got the slam...brookie, brown and bo.

Didn't get out as much as I would have liked but when I put in the time it was rewarding. Not too much up this way in Boston Harbor but most of the Herring still haven't fallen out of the local ponds. Expecting more in the next couple weeks. Canal was pretty good for me but we could use a little more big bait down there. Aside from a few big herring here and there it seems that small bait is all we got. Don't mind the rain from shore, but it kinda sucks in the boat.

This has been a terrible June. June is usually my best month as far as good sized fish and its been bad. Rain basically everynight, and as much as I enjoy a couple nights fishign some snotty weather it gets old after a while.

Lets get some decent weather/winds and hope it heats up.

aside from Cutty, I got out on the kayak a handful of times until the weather kept me at home - had a steady pick up to teen-size, but mostly schoolies
haven't surfcasted the northshore since May

Good for numbers but not for size… fished primarily in SoCo and caught fish just about every trip but haven’t landed a fish much over 20lbs. Hopefully July holds some bigger fish, maybe tonight!!

it wasnt like last year, but it wasnt that bad either. It did get old fishing in the rain, especially getting the skunk a few days in a row. Got bigger fish this year, though not nearly the numbers of last year.

Very different, but the best for size ever.
Broken wrist put a big damper on things. Only fished about 8 times all month, and most were half hearted quick hit and go missions. Busy with work and house buying process.
Weather was a downer, but really just didn't have the desire or drive to go. But when I did, it obviously paid off big time. First time I've ever caught 40 Lb fish in June.
Hopefully things will get better (and my wrist too).... (and the eel situation)..........

Decent numbers of 15-25lb fish and the best Fluke fishing in years down in Soco. I don't see the big numbers of 30lb plus fish that we saw back in 2000-2003, but fishing has been consistent in the boat for the second half of the month.

Gotta good spot for Jumbo eels, RL....

I've come to the conclusion I don't know how to target large fish.

1 keeper to date. all from the boat.

last year it felt like work... this year its fun again.

I have been out only a handful of times all year. It has been good to get out, not so good on the catching. Tough to get motivated with all of the wind and rain.

can't really say i've been out with consistency. all smalls so far. spending time with newborns and waiting til august/ september to try and luck onto some large, given i'm so out of touch with where the fish are now.

I have had a fantastic spring with tons of keepers and many ,many fish 20-25lbs and a few slobs 30plus. I have only had the boat out three times. I got the biggest fish from the shore.One from the canal and one from up north aways both topped thirty pounds.

The tsunami shad 6 inch olive with the red eyes has been doing all the damage. Bug boys plugs have been nothing short of awesome! The jointed eel is deadly on the flats.

I feel like the football coach that can't call the right plays. My all niter last nite: 1.75 hrs. eeling HOTM, Truro followed by 1.5 hrs. eeling from the Pavilion to Wood End. I did not have one hit and I am dead tired. Night before: 1.75 hrs. eeling somewhere else...one hit and I blew it because I am fishing now expecting nothing and not paying attention.

Last week: four straight daybreaks at the Canal. One 23" bass.

I am certain I am the only surfwalker that can't catch his fish. And I'm in deep depression.

My late april was MUCh more productive than my entire June, unless you count sea robins. Waaaah. July has already been better than my whole June. What the heck was that.

June treated me pretty well. Have had very consistant bait and action all month long. It seemed that most of the fish I caught this month were from 12-18 pounds, not monsters by any means but decent bass. Towards the end of the month my area became infested with stupid rat blues, which make things a little bit frustrating. Had a good start to july while fishing some out-of-state locations. I think if the weather stays fairly cool we could be in for another good month.

plenty of fish...but nothing of size yet this year but the fall treats me better. I STILL YET TO BREAK 30 THIS YEAR. A dozen or so in the 20# class but with moving my fishing time has been slim.Tonight was el skunko...but the first in a month so I can't complain.

june was good to me. plenty of keeper sized fish but had to work for them. nothing over 25# for me

can't complain tho, this year is more of a getting back into it type of thing due to school the past four years. i have been loging a ton of hours, two nights ago was the first night i missed in over a month and a half, guess thats what happens when you move home and have no job.... work is for people who don't fish anyway
