Question What do you know about this light?

What's the big deal with this lighthouse?

Deep water, rocks, parking and moving water. Never fished it but been there scouting and it looks nice. Another spot no one talks about for some reason

Seen some nice fish come out from under the foghorn on the fly.

It's on an island with no toll bridge.

Fishpart,

You obviously know the light...the currents...and the fishey nature of the place.

There is one very special quality to this light...anyone know?

Looks like I can't "slip" anything by you Mr. Slipknot.

It is indeed old.

If it's haunted it's by the ghosts of untold stripers that have been pulled out of these waters.

But there is more to this story....

It's at the location of the third oldest lighthouse in the US?

HABS leaves a set of Korkers and a rod stashed in the bushes?

It is the favorite spot of Fish-Eye to take pictures?

Habs,

Next thing you'll be telling me is that it takes a 100 Watt bulb... and how many Russians to change it?

Fishpart,

You're almost right, but totally wrong!

Tattoo,

It would make a great bell tower for you to swing out of -- not exactly elephant man style, but certainly Quasimodo-style -- you could frighten all the fisherman away from your favorite spots.

Of course - all along I'm racking myh tiny brain for Rhody spots

Little far from the average surfcaster to see up close and personal like ... Although I can "see" it at night from my super-secret Greater Bahstin honey hole...

The funny thing is there is a very large print about 15 feet from where I'm sitting that has that light on it...

Saltheart you are right. I keyed in on the railing and the little white building to the front.

Steve,

Nice fish! So they do swim around that clump of rocks!

Hope you find a lot more in 2002.

Mike

Yeah, that's a favorite picture of mine, not just for the fish, but also for the scenery in the background.. Had it blown up and framed, and it resides on my dining room wall.

And, yeah, they do swim around those rocks. There is a good ledge......well, I better not say more, or Mr. Kav (among others) will have to kill me....
