Over The River And Through The Woods......
What are your Thanksgiving plans?? Where you chowing down? Got any traditions?? High School football games?
Just Angie, my 2 boys, myself and a 24.5 pound bird! All the fixin's....mashed potatoes, stuffing, all the veggies......I will again attempt to recreate my Dad's gravy!!! Just hanging out for the day, watch some football in front of the fire and have a nice quiet dinner!
Have a great Thanksgiving all!

Stool doesn't help when it's all a throbbing. Was feeling good yesterday so I tried to skip my meds last night and am now paying for it!
This will be the first Thanksgiving I haven't cooked since I was a kid.

Growing old is a terrible thing. Never skip your meds, you'll end up paying for it. Enjoy the day regardless, be thankful you can still complain

Yea and I'm only 38
This is one of those dumb injuries anyway. I smashed a toe and instead of resting it decided to go on a three day business trip to Charleston, SC.
That was a mistake.
All things considered, it isn't all that bad. I will heal.

Another Thanksgiving to remember
A small get together with my wifes family. 60+ and counting. And everyone can COOK UP A FEAST TO DIE FOR. My contribution is my brined garbage can turkey. One of three turkeys and a ham. Wife is making candied sweat potatoes, punch.
Mother in law has to bring the oyster stuffing or answer for it. Everyone has a specialty to bring.

Just finished making the Pies...Apple, Blueberry, and Chocolate Death.....My kids love Thanksgiving because its the only day they can have Ice cream for Breakfast....on the pie
Then over to my mothers house for the full turkey feed, be home early though....my son has Pnuemonia poor kid....so we are just gonna have dinner and then home so he can rest......he's been resting good for a couple of days and if he doesn't get his turkey I don't know what he'll do...

Going to my sister in laws in Abington.. All the grandmothers will be there. (grandfathers have all passed). All my other brother ,sister in laws..All the kids (now in early 20's) there girlfriends,,boyfriends,, All us old farts .. Tons of food ,deserts, turkey, veggies, Gowells candy ( made in Brockton since early 50's). Our family is really close.. We all grew up knowing each other..same neighborhood ,marrying High School sweethearts .. We are also the core of "The Mongolion Ski Team ".. We'll usaully draw names for Xmas today and decide $$ limit on huge yankee swap.. Also plan winter ski trips .. Not sure how much of that will be going on this year ,,again $$..All this while watching football ..We'll play this a little too ..
http://cgi.ebay.com/LCR-Dice-Game-Le...1%7C240%3A1308
Everyone can play . We play $3.00 to each .. dice will tell you wich way to pass the money . We have about ten play so winner gets $30,,but the more the merrier ..even if you have no money left ,your not out until its over . I'm very thankful for all of the above . I love my family ..

Eat at my brother-in-laws new house in Manchseter-by-the-sea. Was there before it was finished. Probably walk to Singing Beach with all the kids after dinner. Lament the fact that I again am at Singing Beach with no rod in hand. Throw the football with all the nieces and nephews. Drive back down friekin 128 with all the other wackos out for the hols.
God bless everyone...............

We are surprisingly busy for the economy which is good for me, or we are just low balling to get the work.
The most I have to do today is make the gravy
