Saturday May 1 at the cod party
Weather's getting too nice plus weekend, the party is now 100's of boats. After the early bite, everyone spread out pretty good over the bank looking and looking.
We nearly limited on cod and boated 6-8 pollack (part of the early bite). The cod went to deeper waters, slow bite but much bigger fish.
"Thepoint" Chad had the biggest cod and pollack of the day, but Marty had the biggest pull of double (big) cod.

Anyone that wants to check out the conditions and fishing:
The is some unedited language.......
Opening screens try to capture the size of the fleet and then we get down to business (oops pleasure).

That is a lot of boats working that spot...was there any enforcement out there or was it a free-for-all?

No traffic cops just a free-for-all. Didn't see and CG or EPO boats all day long.
