So a natural resource is depleted in order to re develop that resource catch limits are imposed. It is unfortunate for the fishermen but I have never had any one sue for me based on reductions in new commercial construction. I had to adapt and alter my business. That's life

She must be missing the spotlight and needed to get some air time.
How much state money will she be willing to throw into this lawsuit?
How much of that money could be used to give some assistance to the fishermen who will undoubtedly be screwed in the end when nothing changes except the money from one hand to another?
It sure looks good up front, but when all is said and done it will be a waste of time and money and the fishermen will lose again!

It is directed at John Bullard, the Northeast Regional head of NOAA, who also was formerly mayor of New Bedford. Some feel he has used a heavier hand with the Gloucester fleet and has more interest in the New Bedford fishery. Folks in Gloucester got Coakley's attention, and this is an attempt to level the playing field and maybe, get some real science involved in decisions.
