Broke the 250 barrier this morning. Weighed in at 249.5
. My birthday (60) is Monday so I made my target 5 days early. Now as anyone who has dieted before knows , these weights fluctuate up and down by several pounds , especially on a larger person. I fully expect that I will go back and forth across the 250 barrier several times before I make another move down to 245. I remember 260 was up and down from 258 to 262 for 2 months as I plateaued out then eventually started losing again. You can't let it discourage you. For some reason that's how it happens so you just keep watching the diet and wait for another distinct move downward over time.
I think losing 10 more will put me in a position where the nice suits I had custom made for myself by a tailor while I was in Korea will fit again. Not that I ever get dressed up anymore (I should say seldom) but on those rare occasions it will be nice to get some more use out of them.
Anyway that's 57.5 pounds since August 2011. And the battle continues!
