Longtrail Blackberry Wheat

Not a big fruit beer guy but Ive been really enjoying these while out on the boat with freinds. Go down easy and can throw a few back unlike a heavier craft. Been my go to lately while pulling into the marina.

I like the Longtrails...they are very good on a hot day.

The key to a good fruit beer is to not have the fruit overpower the beer. Apricot lends itself well to the fruit beers.....Magic Hat #9 and Ithaca Apricot Wheat are very good....dogfishhead make Aprihop which is also very good.

A lot of Good Blueberry Flavored brews out there....I like the one at the Boston/Salem Beerworks.

Hard to find a really good Strawberry flavored beer as the fruit flavor is always way to strong....same with Raspberry as well.
