99 degrees in Smithfield today

Had to go pay my cable bill in Smithfield today. At 5 PM at the intersection of Rt 295 and 44 it was 99 degrees. Usually by 5 PM things are cooling down but today it was still climbing (98 to 99) there at 5 PM. That is just too hot for us old fat guys! Anybody top 100 today?

about 96 up on the Northshore. Gonna hit gloucester tonight to see for myself if the heat has made the fishes take a siesta.

I'm sure the trucks we were unloading today were north of 100.... The rolling stock was almost hot to the touch. Tempted to wear the camel Pac tomorrow... Looking forward to the light show and "cold" front on Saturday.

I was replacing 135° heat detectors in a big attic w blown in insulation to 195° heats because the 135's were tripping. Attic had to be 150. Getting back to 95 felt like air conditioning.

The heat we had a week or 2 ago was brutal also. I was in my buddy's garage getting my truck worked on and all of a sudden an ear ringing explosion that chased us both out of the garage. We felt the wind blast on our faces and legs. We ran out half deaf and checked for blood. Come to find out one of his big tractor tires that had a little dry rot blew up. Crazy! This weather sux!

I've been remodeling a kitchen. Demo and rough in sucked as we had to tarp, drape, etc to contain dust. AC return had to be covered so no AC. Rebuild phase began yesterday, thankfully, so was very happy to be installing cabinets with AC on. Same today with trim saws outside. Have to cover all tools as if left in the sun, they are too hot to handle. Expect to be done for counter installers to measure for granite at 2:30. Can't believe how much water I have drunk and have hardly had to pee.... Outdoor projects have been put on hold until the weather moderates. I just can't handle the humid heat any more.
Overnight lows look to be around 78 degrees, so plan on getting out on the boat well before sunrise Saturday.

sucks when your up in an attic trying to work...
and your absolutely drenched in sweat....
then you accidentilly get zapped by 110 volts "YOW"
and your pliers go flying across the attic room and now
you have to go retrieve them to finish the dammed wiring job.

when you emerge back into the house that's maybe 70-80
it feels cold.

Have guys painting the exterior of my house and I told the boss to call it early if they can afford to do it, as I could care less if the job is delayed a day..
can't imagine having to work outside like that in this heat...

Today could be the worst as the same system is pumping in the heat but we are starting out with a higher morning temp. They are saying relief tomorrow afternoon in the form of T storms then cooler weather rolling in .

95 Feels Like 107 here. It's brutal. Saps the energy out of you just walking from the car into work. My wife and daughters are going to see Taylor Swift in Philly tonight. Free water stations, but no water bottles allowed. I can't even imagine how uncomfortable that's going to be.

Heard a radio report that we are on track for the hottest average temp in history for the month of July in RI. They also said that the night time low temperature in Providence has not fallen below 70 degrees so far for the month of July .

99 here in Middleboro

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

What a nice day!

63 degrees at my house and a nice cold rain coming down. First day in a while where I didn't feel like I was breathing under water. Despite the rain the humidity is no issue today.

Forget the hot sun and 99 degrees. High's in the low 60's every day (but no rain) would be fine with me.
