Maine report

Just returned from 2 weeks fishing in Maine. Also did a lot of other stuff but fished daily. This is southern Maine. In general there were a lot of fish around compared with the last 3 years. And it was heartening to see fish of every size. Between fly fishing, soft lures, chunk bait and live lining macks I had fish from 40" to 15". All fish seemed very healthy. In one tidal river my son spotted more than 60 stripers from his paddle board....most smaller but several 30-40 inches. Lots of sand eels around as well.
