Looks like another 50 was landed in the area this past week (weighed in at surfland) so I hope you are right and they are headed just a little further south!
Having a very consistent year on the kayak and been having a ton of fun with the teen size fish Joe mentioned! Only bigger ones came when it was easy to get live macks earlier in the season, just an awesome thing when a good fish slams a mack trolled behind the kayak, highlight of the season for sure.
Gonna try to keep getting out before work and then try to do some night missions to try to go larger...
