I am probably somewhat of an oddball here in that I would RATHER catch bluefish than stripers. Sure stripers look pretty when they break water and they taste much better. But pound for pound I'll take a bluefish any day. They fight with a rabid tenacity that I have the highest respect for. I call them pit bulls of the fish world.
