10-4

Here's another recent fishy pic to break up the monotony, one I already posted.

Roughly 48 inches, caught on a Banjo Minnow at Watch Hill Light.

WW,

Where do you store your images online? I use VillagePhotos.com but they only give you 5 mb of transfer per day. It looks like you use a lot more judging from the number of pics you posted.

WW,

I didn't know you could save them here?
Each time I try to upload a pic, it asks me for the url. Is it possible for googans to upload here? It would be much easier than trying to hotlink the images all the time.

Nope, definitely not Beavertail. Too much sand in this spot.

I did almost get chased outta Westerly. Those folks will just grump you off the road on your merry way to CT.

Nope and nope. All the rocks at the Sore Thumb are construction and demolition debris and are piled up artificially. Rocks and boulders in the mystery spot are natural.

Bingo, he nailed it on the head.

The spot in question is scenic Horton's Point, North Fork of Long Island, New York.

Rocky...like Montauk and RI and the Elizabeths. However, it's a lot of little gravel and some HUGE boulders, but not a lot of boulders like you would see in New England.

Steep hill to get down to the water ... just like some of the beaches in Truro, except rocky.

However, since it's Eastern LI Sound, the surf is gentle relative to the open ocean.

As JohnR noticed - big tide movements.

Great togging spot, and some nice striper fishing. Honestly, I just go there for the views. Just a hop skip and a jump away from one of the boat striper Meccas - Orient Point.
