The Beans I had filled with sand from waves, a spot I fish picks up alot of sand and the Boa dial got packed to the point I had to pry it open with my pliers to get the boot off.

That's not good. But good to know. I guess I'm not going with the beans. But were they clean before that? I'm gonna send my korkers back but don't expect anything to happen. I was thinking beans but now second guessing. I like the boa set up but won't buy the korkers again. I may just get a pair of lace up beans and have Erin tie them for me before I go fishing

Maybe you could take a pair to a seamstress and have them replace the laces with Velcro. You know how to use that, don't you?

I have lace up Beans that I got in May. They started falling apart before July 4th. I'll take em back at the end of the year and stick with laces. The quality isn't real good but the warranty makes it worth it.

Conservatism is not about leaving people behind. Conservatism is about empowering people to catch up, to give them tools at their disposal that make it possible for them to access all the hope, all the promise, all the opportunity that America offers. - Marco Rubio

This is what happened to me. Locked right up on a sandy beach. I like the boot itself, but hate the BOA system and don't trust it at all. Wish the those boots came with laces like before....
