I know some don't like seeing pics like that be really.......what is the problem.

A bunch of guys went on a party boat and kept the 2 bass they could keep.

I kept a couple big bass over 40" last thursday but yesterday caught 20 bass between 26-38" and let the ALL go. Guess I'm a bad guy.

Let me ask this.....Why would this not be an outrage with most of you if this was a deck full of cod, flounder, tog, haddock, fluke, pollack.

When togfest happens and there are pics of a deck of fish when everyone keeps there 3 keepas will there be outrage........don't think so.

Allot of guys want gamefish status. What does that mean??? Can recreational fish be kept with a gamefish status thus seeing the same thing but no comm sale?

I don't know what the answer is but the way allot of people act when seeing pics like this they want to blame somebody else. Maybe the only answer is to stop fishing, targeting, keeping bass for everyone. Maybe then people will be happy. i won't be happy though

AMEN! Quit your bitching here! Or take the days out of work ( if you work) to make a difference at the hearings (which nobody does) stop bitching on the boards and take it up with the people who make the laws! Get it? Crying and putting your 2 cents in here does nothing at all.

the problem (IMHO) is that the regs suck.... for both rec and comm fishermen. I realize what is shown in the pic is perfectly lawful. But the thousands of rec guysall along the coast should only be taking one fish daily..... and the comm take should be less too. managing for MSY is trying to keep a fishery alive with the least amount of fish possible- its doomed to fail

it just makes it WORSE that the numbers of fish are declining while this "bonanza" is going on.
