Glad you got your wheels back
You grump, ya should have let her go into mall. I swear women love to shop,it's in their blood .Goes all the way back to the days of Hunter/Gatherer. But some women love to fish too, wish mine did, she sure does a good job of shopping. Mine went out last night but I was out at 2 in the AM Sat. making sure no giant bass weren't at my spot unmolested, ofcourse it was Powers who did the molesting but his knot broke on him, I'm trying to convince him not to lock the drag but it's futile since he thinks if he just ties a better, stronger knot it wil do like a double palomar
He is convinced that if he can just hold the beast till she comes up off the bottom and then loosens the drag that that is the way to get keep the fish from rubbing the jig off in the rocks. I do fine with 11-12 lbs of drag, if the bass takes line it doesn't go too far, short bursts are ok they can't take 300 yards I wouldn't think. But he is tagging into some real cows every now and then, I just want one chance at that.
