Things have been kind of thin here lately, both in number of fish and time to fish.

Got out in the pre-dawn today on the Marblehead shore, and had just one hook up in over 2 hours from shore. But being a bit rusty, I got snookered, as he sawed me off on some barnacles after 5 minutes. Couldn't really get a good look at him, but felt heavy, just not full of piss and vinegar. Just hope he can shake that 6" green/black Bomber from his lip. Was my own damn fault too, as I should have recognized what was happening. I had the room to work him away from the rocks too.

The topwater action of last fall seems like a lifetime ago. Can't wait for it to reappear in the coming weeks. Let's keep area reports coming!
