I was going to switch out the bushing for barings and found out the spool spindel will not fit into the new barings, and was going to just use them as boat reels. I findout now that the barings for the 7500 fit into the7000 and might fit the 7000 spool spindel. I am going to research this. If anyone tries this let me know how it works out.... / al
