That about sums it up.
I almost lost my 28 footer a few years ago when it broke off it's mooring in the North River in Scituate. That taught me to put chaffe guards on my mooring ropes. Cut right through at the cleat. Funny thing was, I just happened to be driving by the boat yard during the storm and was going to check on it. When I looked down from driving over the Rt. 3A bridge, I saw the boat heading for the marshes down stream. Owner of the yard took me out and we retrieved it just in the nick of time!
