Good for him. That should be their regular diet anyway.

Spence, I know it seems cruel, but it's a balanced diet better than some of the nutrition our poor receive.
Maybe you could go down and cook the inmates your gourmet meals after the 2 weeks is up.
Bring your favorite wine too.

Conservatism is not about leaving people behind. Conservatism is about empowering people to catch up, to give them tools at their disposal that make it possible for them to access all the hope, all the promise, all the opportunity that America offers. - Marco Rubio

I don't have a problem with the diet, I do have a problem with his behavior trying to bait inmates into getting him national publicity.

LOL FB, on the "whine"
I think in this day and age when many citizens or inmates that don't respect the Flag, and what it stands for, need to get a wake up call.
If the inmates desecrate it, teach them a lesson, two weeks of bread and water is not harsh and unusual punishment. Better yet send them to another country and let them get tried under their laws and have them desecrate their Flag. Then they can "whine".
Oh, but it's ONLY the flag which represents their fair trial, and besides it wouldn't be PC or fair, because something happened in their childhood to cause them to break the law, steal and murder. BS, the thing that happened in their life was that they never learned values, respect for others, morals and discipline.
They are sent to jail to learn a lesson and they get treated pretty well here. It's not Joe's behavior it's the inmates.

Has nothing to do with the flag. If it did his actions likely wouldn't even be legal.

Spence, seriously, when did it become legal to destroy public tax payer property?
What should the penalty have been?
How many excuses can you make for bad behavior.

As goofy as Jeff is, he clearly didn't make an excuse for the diet or punishment.
His issue, as is mine, is this guy is a grandstanding jackass 'birther' who wants attention.
Somewhat coincidental that this comes as he 'mulls' a run for AZ governor. Whatever happened to just throwing someone in the hole without calling the press?

RRH, that is his his quote.
There never was a politician who didn't Grandstand on something.
Anybody that Grandstands on being Patriotic or is against desecrating our
flag, which was the issue, is ok with me.

Spence it most certainly has to do about the flag....U must be reading something else...the bread and water was for desecrating the flag... I do not believe that Joe is concerned only with one's own interests at this point in his life.
