I have a Generac 6500 with a surge rating to 8000. I had a panel installed and run 80% of my house on it including the well pump and furnace.
Generac is one of the best names in the business.
No boat, back in the suds.

I would keep this generator but I'm having a whole house stand by generator installed in 2 weeks I already have 2 honda's so I really have no need for this one
