Some years back a guy came to plugfest w/ a plug that lighted up! some one should remember it or have some pictures of it !!!

That's sweet. Guessing its fired with 12vdc. Wonder how big of a battery you would need to put inside the plug to power it. That would be a fun winter project right there.
