There's always the chance of getting schoolies in some backwater estuaries. With shallower water, they tend to warm up enough to attract and keep schoolies until the larger fish hit our waters.

The earliest I've gotten schoolies and one keeper was March 5th some years back. If you can find shallow waters, and the sun is high, and the temps are good, you should be able to find fish.
