Hey y'all..
Yo guys, I want to welcome my new homeboy here. His name is Dave and he is from NJ and is a student at BU. He is new to NE and Boston. He is afraid to walk into the heart of ghettoes like Chinatown and Roxbury.
Dave, I got a strap tucked in my holster if it offers you a comofrt and security when guiding you through the ghetto... Just kidding.
He has been fishing for his life, but never caught a striper! Not even ONCE, man!
So lets all give him a welcoming committee call, alright?
Peace outta... And I'm going to show him the ropes on fishing on Bassachuetts in general. Not too specific, people...

BU from NJ? What were the odds
Dave - welcome to S-B. One word of caution, please don't let Notaro show you the ropes on navigating the forums here, hehehehe... He's actually doing better now some time under his belt.

hey
hey, Thanks for the word of advice. I'm looking forward to hitting the water soon enough for bass and cod (if I have the money to afford the boat fare).

I'd like to propose a motion that the phrase/word "Y'all" be declared Non-Grata on this website.

Ya got yer Northern accent and yer Southern accent, but try being caught in the middle in NJ where your kids come home and say, "Daddy, I need a new set of crouns (aka, crayons)" or "Are you and mommy going out to dinner in Trent'n (aka, Trenton)". I have to send them up to the Cape for at least three weeks a year just to try and reverse the affects.
