Was just talking about this with Toby. The main page says the 22nd which is Thursday but the event weekends are supposed to run Wed through Sunday so there is a typo somewhere. I think I also read in there somewhere that the "canal teams" only get to fish Friday though Sunday...

Here's the official rule breakdown:
28. The season will run from MAY 21st through NOVEMBER 2nd. PLAYOFF ROUNDS; ROUND 1 September 15th - 21st, ROUND 2 September 22nd - 28th, CHAMPIONSHIP September 29th - October 5th. All teams will still be able to add to their regular season scores until November 2nd.
They have to swim by you guys to get here..so leave a few for us!

I won't be in Vegas this year for the start so maybe I can actually find time to fish the start.
