Thanks Sea Dangles...was that possibly you in the Onslow Bay!?
I headed west to little Compton , sakonet river and Newport, had a great day, went about 40 miles on 4 gallons of gas.

Google the name Harold Burnham
He has a barn right next to the Essex Shipbuild museum. He is a very good friend of mine from school. Can build you a big awesome wooden boat in the blink of an eye for ya. Cuts his own logs, you name it.......don't look for fancy teak and mahogahy, just honest to godness strong working sloops and schooners.....white oak, heavy stuff..
His last project was for himself. A Pinky schooner named Ardelle.

And I wouldn't get too far in the kind of seas an Onslow Bay can handle!
