I'm very meticulous with my knots, if I see the tag end slip by the slightest I cut it off and try again. End up bruising my hand from wrapping the leader around the mono and pulling hard with a plier with the other hand. Definitely was a break off because I felt the rocks rubbing like crazy on it. Went back last night, the lower tide showed considerably more rocks in that spot than the rest of the area.

I don't have a fish scale, weighed myself on a digital one, then weighed myself holding the fish. Could have read it wrong being 3am!

Bucktailed all night under them my friend! No love! Switched over since that spot was an eddy and more shallow than some spots and the bottle was the one plug that was able to hover just over the rocks and stay in the current. Was supposed to be my last few casts then head home!
Thank you all!
