Some days they will act like regular fish and some days they just mock you. I use 20 lb Power pro and 20 lb Fluor. Uni to uni knot.

While we're on the topic of equipment, what does every one use for rods? I've been kinda fuzzy on what would be optimal. I currently use a st croix 7' 3/8 to 3/4...

Sounds too light to me,, but then again I only get them up to the boat then lose em!
