Picked up a Penn Slammer 560 a couple of weeks ago for my 9' Loomis, and loaded it with 30# Fireline (first time off the mono). Haven't used them enough to rate yet, but so far I like both the reel and the fireline. Wish I had gone with the 20#/8 dia though , the 30# doesn't seem to cast as well as I thought it would with 12# equivalent diameter. I thought the extra poundage would help around the breachways.
