I'm confused. So a private company breaks the law and the Justice Department goes after them.

How does this translate into Obama = bad ?

I don't know, maybe he needs to do his job better and choose his priorities better instead of doing things like allowing this and pissing off Israel etc. on and on, he is in charge right?
the buck stops with him I thought

has he ever seen this?

really sick of it
if he screws up the Iran nuke thing he should be impeached in my opinion

you keep on making excuses with him, it's ridiculous

I still can't believe he is president

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

It seems like they continue to break the law

It reports that the activity was primarily between 2008 and 2012. Additionally, I've also read that the DOJ levied fines for illegal mortgage foreclosures on vets of 123 Million to various lenders

It's shameful that service members would have to deal with this or worse, potentially be targeted for it. But I'm still perplexed why something like this would cause such an Obama reaction.

The government appears to be doing what was intended.

Do you think some of our active duty service men and women didn't similar treatment under Bush? I'll bet it was even worse.

Y would this be on Obama's shoulders....further more I would assume that this soldier would have been sending his monthly pay home... not sure if being in Irag he would get combat pay on top of his regular pay.do not know how much he could keep on himself in Irag, in Nam we could only keep 250 bucks a month and rest had to go home and we got an extra 65 bucks a month being in a combat zone...futher more it seems that the wife intentionally did not pay the monthly payment....spent it on other things...

You would have to search the forum to find out.
Most of what I post to Spence is to get him to do all the work in providing
his facts.

Santander was founded in 1857.

They were fined for doing this from 2008 to 2012., I doubt they just started doing this in 2008, they (and more than likely other finance companies) were probably doing this well before that but the law protecting the veterans probably didn't get passed until 2008.

So Yeah, it probably was worse under Bush, but Bush was also in office when this law was passed as Obama wasn't sworn in until 2009. So it looks like Bush/Congress took the steps necessary to rectify the problem on his watch.

I haven't found the exact law to verify when it was signed....I'm just following the timeline.

So blaming Bush for this is just as equally ridiculous as blaming Obama for this.
