Not a downeast, but I like a center console that (1) provides 360 degree fishing, with (2) some kind of shelter for wife/kids...
Fished on one of these in the Keys once, fished just like any other center console, maybe a tad unstable casting up front on top of the cabin, more so than if you were standing on the deck of an open CC, but that cabin looked like something that would have appeal to the female of the species, damn them...
