For what it's worth, Mako Mike (on the same RAP panel) gives "every compromise and concession" to the draggers and commercial interests. I often wonder who's side he is on. He was on the panel far longer than me and like in politics, you need to really stir things up when they are badly broken.
I believe on the political side that 100% of the people in government should be removed, there is too much corruption that developes over time. Fishery management is the same and "managers and advisors" end up in bed with those they should oppose and the people they are supposed to represent get the short end of the stick (or in this case the stock).
I only represent recreational angling interests and if Mike doesn't like it that is his issue, I don't see why that would open me to "attacks" from people I try to help. Mike's way has not helped.
