American shad fishing in the Merrimack. Skunked this morning, but got my first of the year yesterday.

I love shad season.

Boat's ready, just paint the bottom and splash but I'm gonna wait till Mothers Day to launch. Just to &^%$#@@ cold

Gonna try for trout and salmon in NH. Will be first time
trolling the big lakes in my 'yak. Can't wait to get OTW.
