Hydogutting is just the opposite: put a tube up it's ass and blow the guts out the mouth. . Yes I brine those I intend to troll, start from sea water or fresh add Kosher salt (lots) + baking soda (a little to preserve coloration) and lots of ice. Overnight ideal. I am just starting this practice so still working out the details. O.D. posted a video on FB of my follies If you are using for chum, just throw in freezer.


I just added a pic of some hose attachement devices to hopefully make the hydrogutting process simpler. I was told it should take less than 10sec per mac. Hopefully this tool cuts a circle around the anus and just blows everything out a slit in the gill membrane.
