True, but totally irrelevant. And totally self-serving as well.

But it is a dead horse. There are indeed still decent numbers of large fish to be caught and sold, and plenty of small (2011 YOY) fish in the pipeline to replace them. There will be no moratorium. All that will happen is that commercial size limit will be reduced once these big fish are exhausted. In the meantime they will increase the allowed commercial days to "sustainably utilize" the diminishing numbers of what is left.

As for those who like to target big fish using inefficient techniques.......tough luck.
