She's a beauty Goose........
I once slam tackled a 30+ lber in May when I snapped by line in the wash. It was a decent fish and everyone around me was catching friggin' blues (no, Clammer wasn't around). Somehow came from the bottom of the blues and it was my first keeper of the year.
Lucky I didn't take some spines in the gut....
Nice fish !

Nice Fish Goose - GET A WEIGH SLIP if you kept it or get Bloo to do a SB slip if ya sent her back!
Last night I had the exact opposite problem! I get a 13# Blue that has the front and a$$ hooks of a Tattoo spook embedded INSIDE both corners of its jaw and takes too much time to C&R and later I get a nice bass (that I actually want to keep) for todays grille ~20 or so~ and as I bring it in the wash, undue the plug, lower jaw in hand, start walking up the rocks and a wave rips the girl out of my hands - may she grow to be a Fifty
