I have a pair of 30 year old Sargent pliers that cost about $20.

The cutters won't cut braid any more, but they'll still cut mono and hook shafts.

And if I lose them, I buy another pair of either those, or Manleys, for about $35 now.

Yup! Me too Ronny! I have never changed my cutters as yet......cut vmc 3/0 hooks with them a few times and they still quite like new!!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!
